As our company has grown, so has our momentum for giving back to the community in matters of education, healthcare, welfare, and culture. As part of our commitment to the community, the group donates, on a yearly basis, at least NIS 1 million and up to 1% of the company's net annual income, the higher of the two. Allocated from the company's donation budget, the funds are channeled through the IDB Foundation for the Community or directly to the relevant charitable organizations and associations. The year 2007 saw the group donate NIS 5 million in according with its board decision.

Among the charitable organizations supported by CII's Community Relations budget are: Matan (CSR cooperative frameworks); SOS Children's Villages in Israel (homeless children); The House of Wheels (disabled children & families); Gallup (therapeutic horseback riding for autistic children); AKIM Israel (mentally handicapped children and adults); Association for Children in Jeopardy (autistic children & families); Variety Israel (sick and disabled children); Friends of Tel HaShomer Hospital (healthcare and research); The Israel Cancer Association (prevention, treatment and rehabilitation); Hayim Association (children with cancer & families); Hope for Life (tutorship for children with cancer); NATAL (victims of terror and war); Atidim (young population in underprivileged areas; Kav-Or (distance-learning services for children in hospitals) and many more.
