Mr. Avi Fischer - Co-Chief Executive Officer, Director 

Mr. Avi Fischer serves as Co-CEO of Clal Industries and Investments and Deputy Chairman of IDB Group.

Mr. Fischer leads the High-Tech and Bio-Tech sectors of IDB Group and leads the business efforts of the group in China.

Mr. Fischer is a co-founder of the Ganden Group, which is the controlling shareholder of IDB group.

Prior to his deep involvement in the IDB Group, Mr. Fischer was a managing partner of Fischer Behar Chen Well Orion & Co., one of Israel’s leading law firms.

Currently, Mr. Fischer leverages his broad international connections, both in financial markets and institutions and in the High-Tech arena, to provide the High-Tech and Bio-Tech sectors of IDB leadership and guidance.  Mr. Fischer serves on the boards of numerous Israeli and International companies, including:

Mr. Fischer serves as the Co-Chairman of "Matan – Investing In The Community" - one of Israel’s largest Philanthropists organizations; serves as a Director in the Israel Democracy Institute; and as the President of the Public Committee of "Adopt a Battalion", the leading project of the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces which combines business companies and combat units of the army, providing for the wellbeing of the soldiers; and as a Board member of the Israel Democracy Institute.

Mr. Fischer holds an LLB. From the Tel Aviv University and was a faculty member at Tel-Aviv University Law School in the eighties. 

Mr. Fischer is a Lieutenant Colonel (Res.) in the armored corps of I.D.F.
